How do Lactation Cookies work? What ingredients do they contain that help breastmilk supply?

Lactation cookies are healthy, delicious and can support a breastfeeding mother by increasing milk supply. They work by using food ingredients called galactogogues, that increase prolactin (which stimulates milk production), plus containing carbohydrates and protein for energy. Our galactogogues include brewers yeast, flaxseed meal and oats.

What dietary needs do you cater to?

Vegan, gluten free, nut free, dairy free, lactose free, diabetic or sugar free and low FODMAP for IBS. We can substitute ingredients in the cookie dough, and advise you on flavour choices. If you have specific questions, please get in touch.
